CAPT. SHAMIM AKHTAR (MASTER MARINER BY PROFESSION)

  • His Command on board includes being MASTER on very large crude carriers. His wealth of knowledge on shipping related activities are well sought after, as also his ability to handle situation to any ship related matters. Not only does he handles a ship with utmost ease, but is technically very sound to handle all kind of marine-related situations.

    As Master Mariner by profession, he has 22 years of Shipboard experience in various ascending ranks and 20 years in senior managerial position in Ownership, Ship-Broking and Management shipping companies. He is highly respected in the shipping industry and is regarded with integrity. He also enjoys very good relationship with all Marine Government organization.

  • COMMERCIAL AND OPERATIONS

    Competent professionals with more than 15 years of varied experience, including over 7 years in Sales and Marketing and over 7 years in Tanker Chartering and Operations. Have developed good contacts with shipping companies, shipping agents, port officials and well connected with Oil Industries. Exposure of fixing the vessels of Indian owners and foreign owners. Expertise in executing vessel & cargo coordination with standard knowledge of government policies & regulations. Experience of playing a vital role of conciliator between various stakeholders directly interested in running the ship viz. the vessel owners, the vessel’s crew and the crew manning company. Demonstrated abilities in devising business activities and accelerating the business growth through top-line and bottom-line profitability. Possess good negotiating skills and understanding of market movement developed through exhaustive reading of market reports. Deft in maintaining good relations with customers and ensuring timely completion of assignments. Effective leader with excellent communication, team building and relationship management skills.

  • IT HEAD

    Mr Niraj is head of IT for the company. Plays an important role in restructuring the companies ID from time to time. He is also an independent director of the company directly reporting to the CMD.

  • FINANCE AND ADMINISTARTION DIVISION

    This division is headed by Messrs Tilak & Co. a chartered accountant with more than 15 years of professional experience. They have worked as a chartered accountant for various shipping organization and has considerable experience in handling financial and fiscal matters.
